Join me in my studio for a two day 10 hour introduction to Encaustic Painting. The class will run from 11am to 4pm on Saturday July 15th and Sunday July 16th. All supplies are included. Learn how to paint with fire. We will go over what would be needed to set up an encaustic work space, making and tinting encaustic medium, applying layers, sgraffito applications, various mark making techniques and fusing with different heat sources. This extended two day workshop will also include photo transfers layering images and botanical imprints. The cost for the workshop is $280 with a $75 deposit required to reserve your spot. Deposits are non refundable two weeks prior to the workshop start.
